Certificate of inheritance
In Belgium, a free document from the FPS Finance that names the heirs and allows the deceased's bank accounts to be unfrozen.
It is requested online through MyMinfin, when the deceased left no will or marriage contract and no heir is legally incapacitated. In other cases, a notary draws up a deed of inheritance, for a fee.
