Mortuary laissez-passer
Document authorising the transport of a deceased person's body from one country to another.
Its name and the authority that issues it vary by country. When leaving France, the transport authorisation is granted by the prefect of the place where the coffin is closed; the consulate of the arrival country may require its own documents.
