Survivors' pension
In Switzerland, the AHV pension paid to the spouse, registered partner or children of a person who has died.
It is claimed from the compensation office that collected the deceased's last contributions. Its amount depends on their years of contributions and their income. Without marriage or a registered partnership, there is usually no pension; the second pillar may provide one as well.
